STAAD RCDC .WHERE CAN I GET THE PRODUCT.
I have a problem of detailing from staad pro. But I learnt staad rcdc can help but i do not have the product.
Please could someone help.
Excel macro cant get results when multiple staad files are open
I have written an excel macro to get results from selected plates in staad. When there are two staad files open at the same time excel gets results from one of them (probably the one which was opened first). Is there a way to choose which staad file to use when multiple staad files are open?
RE: Vehicle Defination
You can directly define your wheel loads using the option as shown below. All details related to the input are available in section 5.31.1 of the technical reference manual titled Definition of Moving Load System. In addition, for your reference, there is an example on moving load ( EXAMP12.STD ) that you can find within the software installation folder C:\SProV8i SS6\STAAD\Examp\US

RE: Displacements on a SURFACE Element
There is no way to get the displacements at any location within the surface element. One can only get the displacements at the nodes that are used to define the surfaces( surface incidences). The software internally generates a plate mesh to analyze a surface and for calculating the surface forces but the displacements at these internally generated nodes cannot be checked. If knowing the displacement at different locations of the wall is important for your analysis, you would have to model the shear wall with a mesh of plates instead surface elements.
Displacements on a SURFACE Element
Hello,
Is there a way to get displacements (any point) on a SURFACE element?
Thanks,
Dennis
RE: STAAD Foundation
If you are trying to analyze and design a mat supported on inclined piles in STAAD Foundation Advanced (SFA), you can create a mat foundation job which would allow you to specify the piles as pile springs. Based on the stiffness of your inclined pile, calculate the equivalent vertical and horizontal stiffness and then you can use these values for defining your pile springs.
STAAD Foundation
Hi guys
could anyone please till me if is it possible to make an inclined piles in STAAD Foundation?
thanks a lot
RE: combined pile cap design using staad foundation
combined pile cap design using staad foundation
hi,
we are designing the pile foundation for our structure, where we need to design a pile cap for two columns combined.
how to do it in STAAD Foundation.
we tried in staad but its taking single column only.
please clarify.
regards,

RE: Shear wall design
The design of shear walls subjected to out of plane bending and compression is carried out as per the Alternate Design of Slender Walls ( Section 14.8 of Chapter 14 of the ACI code). This is mentioned in the technical reference manual section 3.8.2 titled Shear Wall Design.
Shear wall design
Hi Everyone,
How does staad treat out of plane forces in the design of shear walls? As I've never seen Staad generate an interaction diagram for the design of these members. Which design methodology does staad employ in its shear wall designs?
RE: HOW TO GET PLATE REINFORCEMENT DETAIL
HOW TO GET PLATE REINFORCEMENT DETAIL
Helo . I made a water tank design and after analysis i got reinforcement details for beams and column but i could not get detail for walls and slabs . can you please help me how i would get the slab reinforcement detail.
RE: AN ERROR IN STAAD
Thank you yes, I want to know how do we use perform direct analysis command. I did not know that we had to define direct analysis parameters before. I will try by defining direct analysis parameters.
