[View:/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/5932/SERVANT.std:940:0]I analysed a simple building and found different analysis results. In the out- put viewer the midspan result is -90.1kN-m. which is in close agreement with the beam graph post processer. But while viewing the result in member property the value is -138.96kN-m which is approximately 1.5 times the beam graphical value though the distance may be different. Also while checking with Renold’s HB the end moment is 67.88 kN-m which is in close agreement with the postprocessor for the end supports. But the mid span value as it is fixed at both ends it should be near about 50% of end value which should be approximately 39.8 kN-m as per Reynold’s Hb but the value shown is 90 kN-m.
So there is a vast difference in the analysis results. If someone can check and review the comments and clarify why so much difference and what value shall be considered as acceptable one.
