RE: how to find maximum axial , shear and bending moment carrying capacity of a section used in a STAAD model based on various lengths of members used in a particular model.

but the procedure u suggested is for finding out the maximum end forces coming on the member due to applied loads , and not the maximum load carrying capacity of that section type in that model , which could be higher than that mentioned in table.

what i want is max. load carrying capacity not the max force.
