As per the RAM SS Import table there are options to input transfer loads either from RAM FRAME or RAM CONCRETE. Obviously, since these 2 modules have rather different way to calculate the distribution of forces the results are quite different. In practical situation, it is not guaranteed that transfer floor (usually ground floor) will be propped until the whole building is constructed (more so in buildings over 5 stories high) so transfer forces will often be somewhere in between 'ideal' frame situation or simple 'tributary area' load down.
In this situation, there is a real need to have a sequenced construction to be analyzed by the software. What do developers of RAM SS suggest?
