I looked at the code check and the parameters LY and UNL does seem to affect the code check. For example, I changed both the LY and UNL to 5 m ( just an arbitrary value ) and here is a screenshot showing how the slenderness about minor axis and the compression capacity about minor axis changed. Similarly the LAT TOR BUCK capacity also changed significantly with the change in UNL from 3.5m to 5m. Are you not observing the same?
