You can use LOAD LIST command to instruct the program to use the factored load combination for concrete design. Please refer to the attached model. You can see that columns are designed for DL+LL load combinations.

This week is going to be difficult. But I am sure it will be released this month. I just tested your model on the current test build, and found that the error has been rectified.

Thank you for your reply Seth. Yes It would be good to see that changed, since it may be an easy mistake to make for someone less familiar with the Frame module.

It is mostly a concern for me in industrial structures or other tall stories with multiple levels of R=3 braced frames without any intermediate floor levels.

Please upload the model. We can fix that.

What section are you trying to design exactly? Could you show the sketch of it?

I am just trying to design a steel I-beam (i.e ipe 200) with a slab on top (i.e 130 mm thick 1500 mm effective width) acting as composite.
How do you do that with the wizard tool since the Neutral Axis is at the slab and confuses the software....

It is true that you can model and import a composite section from the Section Wizard into STAAD.Pro. However, STAAD.Pro does not have any Eurocode provisions implemented to design such composite sections as EC4 code is not implemented in STAAD.Pro. You could only design the section as a steel section as per EC3 code.
