LTB check EN 1993-1 on cantivered section

Hi,

I'm carrying out an LTB check to a 5 metre long cantilevered column as per EN 1993-1.

I found a way to carry out the check by setting the CMM parameter to 7 (or to 8) and then manually specifying C1, C2, C3 and ZG as per NCCI SN003b (or similar).

My problem comes when I set the KY and KZ values for the effective length to 2. They only seem to be accounted for buckling in pure compression but not for LTB checks.

I found a way around to get the programme to use the effective length of the cantilever (2xL = 10m)  by manually setting the UNL parameter to 10. But the output file shows the following:

'co-efficients C1 & K : C1 =1.770 K =1.0, Effective Length=10.000'

which, although leading to correct results, it is not very elegant as K should be 2.

Has anyone found a any other way to carry out a similar check ?
