Hello, I am checking an existing tank foundation for a new tank. The tank is supported on piles with a pile cap. They are timber piles and we were given a specific k-value to use for the pile spring.
I am having some issues with STAAD Foundation Advanced with these springs. When I adjust the default values for the Kx, Ky, and Kz parameters and click away from the Pile Spring Definition screen, only some of the piles have kept the new values. I have tried saving the model after changing the K values but that doesn't seem to help.
Can someone please help with this issue? See screen shots for more explanation.
