So it sounds like it’s computed before combining, which is promising. Is the same done with drifts, or is there a way to know the drift due to the excitation of a particular mode in response spectrum analysis?
The torsional irregularity ratio is generally computed with drifts: for a given story, it is Max drift/Avg drift. A method using nodal displacements would be okay too. I’m assuming rigid diaphragms.
