The steady state analysis needs to be defined using the input command file ( STAAD editor ). Please refer to section 5.37.6 of the technical reference on how to set up the steady state analysis. Section 5.37.6.8 contains multiple examples showing the command syntax for carrying out the different types of steady state analysis. A number of example models can also be found within the software installation folder at C:\SProV8i SS6\STAAD\Examp\SteadyState.
You can graphically plot the steady state responses like displacement, velocities or accelerations for a set of frequencies.
