In your machine, OpenSTAAD is not registered. To check that, you can do the following--
Open the registry editor (Run > Regedit) and search for the following registry key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\StaadPro.OpenSTAAD
If the key is available, check whether CLSID listed in its subkey.
If the registry file is not there, you can go to the following folder (C:\SProV8i SS6\STAAD\Plugins\StrucLink) and run the following exe file (OpenStaad.Registration.exe) to register the same. You can also go through the following post for more details--
