The advanced solver requires the Advanced Analysis Engine license which needs to be purchased from you Bentley Account Manager. Once that license is added to your license pool, you need to activate it in the start-up page of STAAD.Pro - tick the box next to the Advanced Analysis Engine. If the bubble turns to green, the license is activated successfully and the advanced solver will be used during the analysis.
I believe that you should get the results even with the basic solver, just it will require more time to finish the analysis. As I mentioned, you should delete all unnecessary PERFORM ANALYSIS commands and you may reduce the surface edge division so that the analysis would be finished faster.
