Just wanted to throw in a couple of points in addition to what Kris wrote. There is no direct way to control the precision or the format in the reports. However I think what you are looking for can be achieved through a couple of steps. First step would be to filter out the results for certain critical beams/plates to come up with a shorter output. You can do that by going to the Post processing mode and selecting the beams or plates graphically and going to Report > Beam End Forces or Section Forces for Beams ( Report > Plate Results > Plate Stresses for plates ) to generate the output for those selected elements only. These output can be sorted as well based on the item of your choice. The filtered data, which would be much smaller in volume, can then be copied and pasted in excel by using standard windows copy and paste options. As you know, the number of digits displayed for the data can be controlled from within Tools > Options > Force units dialog box. Exporting Report to Word or Text File would have the limitations you mentioned and so if you want to get the maximum number of digits, without reverting to scientific notations, copying the data to excel will be the route to go. Filtering the data, as mentioned above, would help to keep the volume of data manageable which should help with the copy and paste.
