FL/EA is for axial deflection. This is primarily a bending problem. It is very difficult to compute by hand because you don't know how much stiffness that doohickey on the left has or how stiff the tie between the rods on the right is. I would just do a very simple frame analysis of the upper arm, the lower arm and the thing that ties them together on the right. Just three members. This should at least get you in the ballpark. You could play around with support releases and/or stiffness to see how it affects the deflection.
