May I ask why for EC2/BS8110/TR-43, the max capacity of section(tensile stress limit) is shown to be zero at supports in the plot?
Above is a snippet from RAM Concept Manual.
It does check for the correct tensile stress limit during design. But I wonder why is it not shown in the plot..
The stress limit at supports are shown for other codes such as ACI as shown below.
