Whether to delete columns after forming surface for shear walls?

Initially, I ran structure wizard to get a frame of required dimensions. Then I created surfaces for shear walls with the help of nodes already created in the frame. So my question is that should I delete or retain the columns that are present in the shear walls(i.e. In the picture shown below, should I delete or retain the columns highlighted in red).
