Sye,
Thanks very much for your reply!
For some reason, the results with and w/o PDELTA 1 ANALYSIS and CHANGE are different, especially for the steel code. If using 1st order analysis, the ratio is 1.7, while using p-delta analysis with and w/o the CHANGE command are 1.9 and 3.1, respectively. I checked the ratio with one identical primary load to the load combination that contributes to the maximum code ratio. The result is 1.9. That is the reason why I used CHANGE. I am just wondering if you have any ideas about that.
In terms of the design steel setup, I am not very clear about how to set it up.. should I set up the list one by one or should I state "LOAD LIST 1 TO 32" before setting up the steel design code. I tried with the later, the ratio became 3.1 again. Really confused with that.
Thanks again!
Fio
