RE: How is the unity check calculated for a tapered tubular section using the ASCE solver?

Thank you Sye, the TRACK 1 parameter did help me see what was going on. I can't get staad to use the 50ksi steel if I assign it to members in the General - Property section, but the FYLD parameter did force the calculations to use 50ksi. I'll use this as a workaround.

In the output file under the code checks, I find the following Lines:
Tension : Cl.2.2.1.2 = 47.72
Compression, General Stability : Cl.2.2.1.3.1 = 47.58
Compression, Local Buckling : Cl.2.2.1.3.2 = 42.79
Do you know what equations/code the Cl.2.2.X parts are referring to? I've searched ASCE 10-97 and was unable to find anything to match.
