Thank you for the response. I tried classifying every load case type as " Ultimate" and then I rerun the analysis. I still get an error for design that says:
"Error: No Service stress load case associated with the current job. Cannot design...."
I found that by reducing the "Factor of safety against sliding/overturning" to near zero (0.0001) in the Data Input Pane, under Design Parameters under the Sliding & Overturning tab, the serviceability checks will not matter and the footing size can then be appropriately fixed.
