A quick checking on the model reveals that you have multiple structures in the model. You can go to Tools> Check Multiple structures to identify the disjointed parts of the model. Please refer to the following picture which shows the problem. You can delete the plate and keep the boundary nodes in the model. Later, use parametric models option to create the meshed plates which will consider beam plate connectivity.
