RE: Disappearance of Beams Tab in Post processing window

The bean tab will not show up in postprocessing if your model does not have beam elements. For example if your model is made up of just plates or solids and there are no beam elements in it, there will be no beam tab. There is a little icon as shown next that will display the number of entities of each type in the model.

Click on it and see if the Beam Count is greater than zero or not. If it is zero then you do not have any beams in your model and what you are seeing is normal. If the number Beam Count is nonzero and you still cannot see the beam tab in postprocessing, the only option would possibly be to uninstall the software and reinstall it.
