I presume that you are using two different versions of STAAD.Pro in two different machines. You can check and compare the build number from Help > About STAAD.Pro. There are several new additions and modifications to the old OpenSTAAD functions. So the application object OpenSTAAD functions present in the new library might be not available in the old version and using that function in old version will generate some error message.
The latest STAAD.Pro version is SS6, build 20.07.11.50 and OpenSTAADUI.tlb file is from November, 2015. We recommend to check the problem in this version.
Also all the current versions of STAAD does not support results object functions. If you are using any old results object function in your code, you need to replace them with the application object functions.
